Actor Jin Tae-hyun, who welcomed two more daughters into his family after adopting his eldest daughter, spoke about ‘family’.
On the 20th, Jin Tae-hyun posted on SNS, “The family I envision is not about gratitude being an obligation, nor is it a one-way street for receiving love. It’s about missing each other, being a source of strength for one another, and thinking of each other at every moment.”
He continued, “It’s not about placing burdens on each other as responsibilities, but about being a family that supports each other with complete love, without confining ourselves within the walls of family or blaming each other. However, as humans, we should maintain basic standards for each other, naturally placing spoons and chopsticks on the table. The process of becoming one through God’s love, which is thicker than blood, should be completely beautiful.”
Jin Tae-hyun also stated, “The foundation of the family that started with my marriage to my wife began with the responsibility of choice. We strive to love each other until the end, but we also have to uphold all the sacrifices, considerations, and losses we owe to each other. In this strange world where discussing such things has become unusual, I chose my wife. Everything was a beginning and a grace,” adding, “Therefore, the expansion of the family that started with two people aims to build many stories through mutual care and love.”

Jin Tae-hyun married Park Si-eun in 2015 and has previously adopted a daughter named Park Da-bi-da.
