Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun have welcomed daughters.
On the 5th, Jin Tae-hyun posted on Instagram, "I wish you only peaceful things in the new year. I've been receiving many greetings asking, 'How have you been? How are you doing?' As time passes, we have been loving each other more and becoming a stronger couple, spending each day well."
He continued, "What you can see from us are our appearances on broadcasts, small YouTube activities, marathon training, and other things we need to work hard on, while also enjoying healthy living." He added, "The grateful news that you haven't seen until now is that we have wonderful adopted daughters."
Jin Tae-hyun introduced the two daughters as "an elite marathon runner from Gyeonggi Province and a future nurse preparing in Jeju." He explained, "One has been with us since last year, and the other has been with us since a long time ago from the orphanage. They are all living their lives diligently, and we, as a couple, hope to fill the various shortcomings in their lives with love, under the name of family or as those who share meals together, looking to God whom we all believe in."
Jin Tae-hyun also expressed, "We are truly grateful to be a couple that can offer even a small amount of attention to someone. We look forward to the stories that our family will create together in 2025. I hope to have more sons and daughters in the future. This year, instead of saying 'Happy New Year' to you, I say 'Please share a lot of blessings this New Year.' We will also work hard on our responsibilities and continue to live as we have been, sharing more."
As the news of their adoption became a hot topic, Jin Tae-hyun stated, "It is true that we have daughters, and the children call us mom and dad and are with us. However, it is not yet a legal adoption." He added, "There are friends in situations where legal procedures cannot be done, so for now, we are all living like a family. Please just watch over us kindly."
Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun got married in 2015. They have a publicly adopted college daughter.
