On the 6th, the agency Billions stated, "We have confirmed numerous malicious posts containing slander, false information, and defamation against our artists on domestic communities and overseas social media channels," and added, "To prevent the spread of malicious rumors, we are already conducting investigations and legal actions with law enforcement agencies."
The agency also stated, "We will thoroughly track down the authors and distributors of malicious posts and hold them accountable under a zero-tolerance policy. Although methods such as deleting URLs or withdrawing membership to avoid leaving evidence after creating malicious posts are spreading, we are continuously collecting all written posts and requesting cooperation from related sites."
It further added, "Based on this, we have submitted a complaint to law enforcement agencies, and we will continue to monitor and collect malicious posts for legal action."
Billions includes members such as Kang Shin-il, Ko Chang-seok, Kwon So-hyun, Kim Sung-kyu, Kim Yong-jun, Nam Woo-hyun, Son Hyun-joo, Song Ji-woo, Wang Ji-won, Lee Jun-young, Jeong Seok-yong, Choi Mu-seong, Han Chae-young, and Heo Sung-tae.
