Actress Lee Eui-jeong recalled the difficult times during her battle with a brain tumor, stating, "The hardest moment was when I saw a fake death article."
Lee Eui-jeong appeared on MBN's 'People Who Protect Their Lives' broadcast on the 10th, saying, "I couldn't sleep for more than 30 minutes for four and a half years. I quit 'Three Men and Three Women' because I wanted to sleep."
After being diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006, she battled for 15 years before finally receiving a clean bill of health. During that time, she also had her gallbladder and uvula removed.
Lee Eui-jeong shared, "Nineteen years ago, while washing my face, my hand went sideways. I also experienced a headache that felt like my head was going to break, and at that time, the medical staff told me to go to a big hospital. That was the first health warning, and after that, I lived with the illness for about 15 years."

She continued, "The hardest time was when I faced my death article," recalling the shocking moment, "It was really hard when I saw the (fake) article stating that I had died." She added, "I was reading an article titled 'Lee Eui-jeong Finally Passes Away.' I called my dad and asked, 'Am I dead?' He was so surprised that he hung up."
On another note, she mentioned, "They say that brain tumors can have aftereffects after five years. So, I can't predict how it will affect me in the future."
She expressed, "I'm just glad it was avascular necrosis. If it had been my liver or stomach that had necrosis, I wouldn't have survived. Saying this makes me sad," evoking sympathy.
Additionally, she stated, "After being sick, I am thoroughly managing my health," and emphasized, "Above all, managing 'inflammation' is important," offering advice on healthy routines, exercise, and management tips.
