Actress Kang Hanna is expected to appear in the new tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef'.
Kang Hanna's agency, KeyEast, stated on the 2nd, "Kang Hanna is in final discussions to appear in 'The Tyrant's Chef'."
'The Tyrant's Chef' is the new work of director Jang Tae-yoo, who has produced hits such as MBC's 'The Flower Blooming at Night' and SBS's 'My Love from the Star'. Notably, it is a fantasy romance drama, with actors Lim Yoon-a and Park Sung-hoon confirmed to appear.
According to tvN, the script reading for 'The Tyrant's Chef' was canceled on that day. They stated, "Considering the social atmosphere during the national mourning period, we adjusted the script reading schedule." Previously, actor Park Sung-hoon faced controversy after posting a group photo of Japanese AV actors with the concept of Netflix's 'Squid Game 2' on his personal SNS on the 30th of last month, which he later deleted.
Kang Hanna has been meeting audiences through the film 'The Big Family', which was released in December last year.
