Actress Hyeri showed discomfort when the topic of the past 'Fun' War came up.
In the Coupang Play series 'Office Workers', which premiered on the 22nd, Hyeri made an appearance. 'Office Workers' is a program that deals with the office survival of MZs who are becoming 'sandwiched' between AZ and GenZ, set against the backdrop of the crisis-ridden small marketing company DY Planning.
During the broadcast, Shin Dong-yup asked Hyeri, "Since you don't drink, you must have never regretted posting something on SNS while drunk, right?" To this, Hyeri replied, "I've never posted on SNS while drunk."
Shin Dong-yup then asked, "Did you post everything sober?" and Kim Won-hoon mentioned, "Doing it sober is really 'fun'," referring to Hyeri's past SNS 'Fun' War.
Hyeri was in a public relationship with Ryu Jun-yeol from 2017 until November 2023. Four months after their breakup, when rumors of Ryu Jun-yeol dating Han So-hee emerged in March 2024, Hyeri posted "Fun" on her SNS. This led to suspicions that Ryu Jun-yeol had engaged in a 'transfer romance' with Han So-hee.
Amidst this, Han So-hee posted a message that seemed to target Hyeri, stating, "I neither like someone who has a partner, nor give them leeway under the guise of friendship, nor show interest, nor interfere in others' relationships. I like the 'transfer romance' program, but it doesn't exist in my life. I'm also having fun." However, as the controversy continued, Ryu Jun-yeol eventually broke up with Hyeri.
In response to Kim Won-hoon mentioning the 'Fun' War, Hyeri said, "It might be understandable since you're an office worker, but is it okay to refrain from mentioning 'fun'? I think it would be fine to say it's fun only when it is. It's not fun right now."
However, Kim Won-hoon brought it up again, asking, "Isn't the agency's representative calling you or something? What do they say?"
To this, Hyeri tried to evade the question by asking, "What time are you talking about?" but Kim Won-hoon brought the topic back, asking, "When something fun happens usually?" Hyeri expressed her discomfort, saying to Kim Won-hoon, "How old are you? You really seem to lack awareness."
