It’s time to “pay attention now.” The special ‘Family Plan’ featuring Bae Doona and Ryu Seung-beom is about to begin.

The Coupang Play series ‘Family Plan’ tells the story of a mother with a unique ability to edit memories at will, who teams up with her family to deliver hell to the villains.

After its release, viewership skyrocketed by over 225% in just one week, and during the same period, both the number of viewers and viewership recorded the highest ratings among all Coupang Play series, proving its explosive popularity.

Kim Jung-min, the creator of ‘Family Plan,’ described it as “a thrilling story that punishes the most heinous villains while exploring the true meaning of family.”

As he mentioned, the six-part series ‘Family Plan’ offers an immersive experience with its unique worldview and unpredictable storyline. The story of Young-soo’s family, revealed layer by layer like peeling an onion, keeps viewers glued to the screen from their childhood in a special police unit to the present.

Above all, utilizing the unique theme of brain hacking, the series delivers a thrilling experience as Young-soo’s family carries out a merciless parade of punishment against criminals. The addition of black comedy elements creates a peculiar charm.

The chemistry and performances of Bae Doona, Ryu Seung-beom, Baek Yoon-sik, Romon, and Lee Soo-hyun, who portray a suspicious family with no blood relation, are also noteworthy. Each character is perfectly embodied with strong individuality, making them stand out. Kim Guk-hee, Yoo Seung-mok, Kwak Ja-hyung, and Bae Jae-young also play their parts as heinous villains effectively.

It’s a pity that the story of Young-soo’s family, which unfolded with the voice saying “pay attention now,” ended after six episodes. With the twists presented in the final conclusion, there are still stories to be told, so we hope ‘Family Plan’ will definitely return for Season 2.
