Kim Nam-gil has topped the brand reputation ranking for drama actors.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the big data analysis results for drama actor brand reputation in December 2024 showed Kim Nam-gil in 1st place, followed by Yoo Yeon-seok in 2nd and Gong Yoo in 3rd.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed the brand big data of 50 actors appearing in dramas aired from November 11, 2024, to December 11, 2024, totaling 62,421,649 pieces of data, measuring consumer brand participation, media volume, communication volume, and community volume, and quantified it using a brand reputation algorithm. This represents a 30.35% increase compared to the 47,888,226 pieces of drama actor brand big data from November.

The analysis of drama actor brand reputation was conducted using participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for brand big data analysis. The brand reputation index is derived from extracting brand big data and analyzing consumer behavior through a reputation analysis algorithm, classifying it into participation value, communication value, media value, community value, and social value, and applying weights to produce the index.

Kim Nam-gil, who recorded the 1st place in drama actor brand reputation, had a participation index of 577,606, media index of 704,187, communication index of 874,290, and community index of 965,614, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,121,696.

In 2nd place, Yoo Yeon-seok's brand had a participation index of 451,480, media index of 460,533, communication index of 982,652, and community index of 946,493, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,841,158.

In 3rd place, Gong Yoo's brand had a participation index of 300,128, media index of 487,816, communication index of 876,371, and community index of 959,926, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,624,241.

In 4th place, Seo Hyun-jin's brand had a participation index of 774,903, media index of 532,006, communication index of 519,167, and community index of 688,800, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,514,876.

In 5th place, Lim Ji-yeon's brand had a participation index of 398,841, media index of 409,209, communication index of 599,474, and community index of 965,881, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,373,405.

Director Koo Chang-hwan stated, “The analysis results of drama actor brand reputation in December 2024 showed that Kim Nam-gil's brand, which attracted consumer interest with the drama ‘Hot Blooded Priest 2’, ranked 1st. In the big data link analysis, the keywords ‘transform, sincerity, beautiful’ scored high, and in the keyword analysis, ‘Hot Blooded Priest, cross-dressing, life character’ scored high. The positive ratio analysis showed a positive ratio of 91.02%.”

He continued, “In the drama actor brand category, the brand big data analysis for December 2024 showed a 30.35% increase compared to the 47,888,226 pieces of drama brand big data from November. A detailed analysis revealed a 47.16% increase in brand consumption, a 29.41% increase in brand issues, an 11.93% increase in brand communication, and a 37.74% increase in brand spread.”

The ranking of the top 30 drama actor brand reputations in December 2024 is as follows: Kim Nam-gil, Yoo Yeon-seok, Gong Yoo, Seo Hyun-jin, Lim Ji-yeon, Chae Soo-bin, Hwang In-yeop, Sung Joon, Jung Chae-yeon, Bae Hyun-sung, Lee Ha-nee, Bibi, Ji Chang-wook, Geum Sae-rok, Choo Young-woo, Kim Jung-hyun, Choi Tae-joon, Jung Yu-mi, Han Chae-young, Kim Se-jeong, Joo Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-won, Kim Sung-kyun, Go Soo, Han Ji-hyun, Seo Hyun-woo, Park Ji-young, Heo Nam-jun, Ryu Seung-beom, Lee Min-ki.
