Newbeat successfully completed their debut awards ceremony stage.
The group Newbeat (NEWBEAT, Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yoon-hoo, Kim Ri-woo) appeared at the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the 21st.
On this day, Newbeat, who won the 'K World Dream New Vision Award', expressed their gratitude by saying, "It is a great honor to be on the stage of our first awards ceremony after our debut, and we are sincerely thankful to receive such a meaningful award." They added, "Although we still have a long way to go, we could stand here thanks to the fans who believe in and support us."
They also expressed their ambition, saying, "We will do our best to show more people Newbeat's unique music and performances from today onwards."
Following that, Newbeat performed their recently released digital single 'Cappuccino'. They showcased a powerful performance that was not typical for newcomers, matching the intense beat and addictive rap flow. In particular, Newbeat heated up the atmosphere with their shirt removal performance in the latter part, receiving explosive cheers from the audience and high praise from MC Jeon Hyun-moo.
‘Cappuccino’ shares the worldview of Newbeat's pre-released song ‘JeLLo (힘숨찐)’ from their first full album ‘RAW AND RAD’. Based on an old-school sound, it showcases Newbeat's unique musical color. It was previously revealed as a surprise at ‘KCON LA 2025’, garnering a hot response from fans.
Newbeat took their first step into the music industry by releasing their first full album ‘RAW AND RAD’ in March. They made a glamorous debut through special projects such as the Mnet debut show ‘Drop the NEWBEAT’ and the SBS fan showcase ‘힘숨찐 해부실’. Since then, they have been actively participating in various domestic and international stages, including the ‘2025 Love Some Festival’, ‘Seoul Spring Festa Opening Ceremony Seoul Wonder Show’, ‘KCON JAPAN 2025’, and ‘MyK FESTA’.
