The group ENHYPEN's (ENHYPEN) new Japanese single has gone straight to No. 1 on the Oricon chart.
According to the latest chart released by Oricon Japan on the 29th (as of July 28), ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunwoo, Niki) sold 307,483 copies of their fourth Japanese single '宵 -YOI-' (Yoi) immediately upon release, reaching the top of the 'Daily Single Ranking'.
With this, ENHYPEN has demonstrated their strength by placing all 16 singles and albums released in Korea and Japan on the daily chart at No. 1. In particular, this achievement recorded the highest first-day sales among all ENHYPEN albums to date, showcasing their high local popularity.

The music video for the title track 'Shine On Me' topped the real-time chart of major local music site Line Music's 'Music Video Top 100'. Following that, the 2nd and 3rd places were also taken by the music videos for 'Outside' and 'Bad Desire (With or Without You)' from ENHYPEN's mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH'.
'宵 -YOI-' is ENHYPEN's first Japanese single in about two years, capturing the desire and instincts towards a loved one. The title track 'Shine On Me' is a ballad that highlights the members' soft vocals and delicate expressiveness, and it has been inserted as the ending theme song for the Nippon TV series 'I Want to Catch a Sea Bream (海老だって鯛が釣りたい)', generating early buzz.
Following the release of '宵 -YOI-', ENHYPEN is ramping up communication with local fans. They will hold a showcase to celebrate the release of '宵 -YOI-' tomorrow (31st) at 6 PM in Tokyo, Japan, and will host the 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'WALK THE LINE' IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-' at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka on the 2nd and 3rd of next month.
Meanwhile, last month's release of the mini album 'DESIRE: UNLEASH' is enjoying long-term success on major Billboard album charts in the United States. This album ranked 3rd on the latest Billboard chart (as of August 2) for 'World Albums', and placed 17th in both 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album Sales'.
