Actor and broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil's son Son Bo-seung has shown a heavy presence in 'Trigger'.
On the 28th, Lee Kyung-sil posted on Instagram, "Son Bo-seung appears in 'Trigger' airing on Netflix. He will be featured from episodes 2 to 7. He is doing quite well," along with a video of 'Trigger' to support her son Son Bo-seung.
Son Bo-seung plays Seo Young-dong, a victim of school violence and the perpetrator of a mass shooting incident, in 'Trigger'. He portrayed Seo Young-dong's transformation with stable acting, exuding a heavy presence.
In response, netizens commented, "So it was Bo-seung. I was unsure while watching, but he did so well," and "There was an actor who caught my eye while watching 'Trigger'. Thanks to Son Bo-seung's very realistic acting, I was able to focus and enjoy it."
Son Bo-seung made his acting debut in the 2017 MBC drama 'Father, I'll Take Care of You'. Since then, he has appeared in dramas such as 'Save Me 2', the 'Penthouse' series, and 'Moving'. Recently, he also appeared as Seok-nam Gorilla in the Netflix series 'Weak Hero: Class 2'.

In an interview, actor Kim Nam-gil, who worked alongside Son Bo-seung in 'Trigger', said, "I found out he was Lee Kyung-sil's son during the shoot," and added, "It was really interesting that even when we were at a regional filming location for just 2-3 days, he was doing delivery work or part-time jobs. I thought, 'He is a friend who lives very diligently'."
He continued, "His absorbency is good. There is no right or wrong in acting, but there are times when one wonders if the direction they are going is a good one for people to see. When he provides answers to that, he absorbs it quickly. Watching that, I thought he is a very promising actor."
Released on the 25th, 'Trigger' is a gun disaster action thriller that depicts the story of two men who pick up guns for their own reasons amidst the continuous occurrence of gun incidents and the delivery of illegal firearms of unknown origin in gun-free South Korea. Actors Kim Nam-gil, Kim Young-kwang, Gil Hae-yeon, and Park Hoon also star in the series.
