Group &TEAM has announced that Euju has been selected as the lead in a Japanese drama.
Euju will make her first serious acting challenge through the Nihon TV series CTV Wednesday drama "I Want to Catch a Sea Bream (海老だって鯛が釣りたい)," which will premiere on July 2.
This work is a romantic comedy about an ordinary office worker female protagonist who goes through meetings and partings with four different men to find true love and herself.
Euju will play the role of Park Jong-soo, a Korean youth who dreams of becoming an actor. There are high expectations to see another charm of Euju, who has shown intense charisma on stage.
Euju expressed her feelings, saying, "I am very happy and excited to be a part of this work," and added, "The character I am playing, Jong-soo, is a pure and consistent person. I will do my best to express that charm well."
Meanwhile, &TEAM, to which Euju belongs, is currently continuing their Asia tour "2025 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR 'AWAKEN THE BLOODLINE'."
After successfully completing performances in Seoul, Jakarta, and Taipei, they will conclude the tour with shows in Hyogo on July 5-6 and Hong Kong on the 26th, followed by performances in Saitama, Japan on October 25-26.
