Singer Kim Jong-kook (49) has announced his marriage, drawing attention to his fiancée.
On the morning of the 18th, Kim Jong-kook posted a handwritten letter on his fan cafe, stating, “I have always prepared in my heart for the day when I would write and post something like this, but as I actually prepare this letter, I feel more nervous and excited than I imagined. I’m getting married.”
According to his agency Turbo JK Company, Kim Jong-kook's fiancée is a non-celebrity. He plans to hold a private ceremony, inviting only close family and friends to consider his non-celebrity fiancée.

In May, Kim Jong-kook was embroiled in marriage rumors after purchasing a 243㎡ unit in ‘Nonhyeon Apelbaum 2nd Phase (Complex 3)’ located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 6.2 billion won.
Later, during an episode of KBS2’s variety show ‘Problematic Men in the Attic,’ when asked by the MCs, “Is there someone?” he ambiguously replied, “It’s not that there’s a woman, but if I get married in the house I moved into, that house naturally becomes the newlywed home,” fueling marriage speculation.
Kim Jong-kook expressed, “I have been dropping hints little by little, but I think there are definitely many people who feel it’s sudden,” and added, “This year marks my 30th anniversary since debut, but instead of making the album I wanted, I only made my other half. I hope you will congratulate and support me.”
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook debuted in 1995 with the group Turbo, releasing hit songs like ‘Recollection’ and ‘White Love,’ and has been active as a solo artist since 2001. Additionally, he has appeared on SBS variety shows such as ‘Running Man’ and ‘My Ugly Duckling,’ showcasing his talents as a broadcaster.
