According to officials from SBS's entertainment program 'Running Man' on the 18th, the scene of Kim Jong-kook's marriage announcement, which was scheduled to air on September 7, will be broadcast in the episode on August 31, a week earlier.
Kim Jong-kook personally shared his marriage news during the opening segment of the 'Running Man' recording today. According to Maeil Business Star Today, the footage from today will indeed air on September 7, but it has been decided to edit and release only the marriage announcement scene in advance.
Along with the recording, Kim Jong-kook also shared the news directly with his fans through his fan cafe. He said, "This year marks my 30th anniversary since debut, but instead of making the album I wanted, I only made my other half. Still, I hope you will congratulate and support me," and added, "Although it's quite late, how fortunate it is to be going this way."
He continued, "I will live well. I plan to hold a small and quiet wedding in the near future. I will strive to be a hardworking and diligent Kim Jong-kook."
