The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'That Guy is the Black Dragon', which is set to premiere on February 17, tells the romance of 'Department Head Killer' Baek Soo-jung, who suffers from a dark past, and the 'third-generation chaebol' Ban Joo-yeon, who harbors the Black Dragon in his heart.
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name by writer Hye-jin Yang, the drama is directed by Lee Soo-hyun, who helmed tvN's 'Useful Fraud', and features a solid lead lineup including Moon Ga-young (as Baek Soo-jung), Choi Hyun-wook (as Ban Joo-yeon), Lim Se-mi (as Seo Ha-jin), and Kwak Si-yang (as Kim Shin-won).
Among them, Choi Hyun-wook's character 'Ban Joo-yeon' is a third-generation chaebol and the head of the strategic planning department at Yongseong Department Store, who appears to be meticulous in everything. However, he secretly hides his 'Black Dragon' fanboy persona to be recognized as the heir of Yongseong. After his carefully concealed private life is discovered by team leader Baek Soo-jung (played by Moon Ga-young), he faces the biggest crisis since his perfect double life between the department head and the Black Dragon.
