
Indian-born broadcaster Lucky is getting married this September.
His agency, Drama House Studio, announced on the 15th, “Lucky will hold his wedding ceremony on September 28 with a non-celebrity Korean bride,” adding, “Along with the marriage, a new blessing of life has come to the couple. We ask for many congratulations for the soon-to-be parents, Lucky and his bride.”
On the same day, Lucky shared the news of his marriage on his personal SNS, stating, “In 1996, the flight to Korea I boarded, not knowing what journey awaited me, greatly changed my life,” and “On September 28, we plan to embark on a new journey together as a couple.”
He continued, “Just as King Suro of Gaya and Princess Heo Hwang-ok of Ayutthaya embraced each other's cultures and wrote a new history, we, as a couple, will write the stories of India and Korea together, living with respect and understanding for each other. I sincerely thank everyone who has blessed us with warm hearts.”
Lucky, originally from India, began his career as a travel guide in Korea in 1996 and established himself as a businessman by running a trading company and an Indian restaurant. He has gained much love from the public for his witty remarks while appearing on various entertainment shows such as 'Non-Summit', 'Foreigners in Korea', and 'Radio Star'.
Meanwhile, Lucky is scheduled to hold his wedding ceremony at a venue in Seoul on September 28 and plans to continue his active career.
