Singer Lee Hyori (46) revealed that she has been practicing intermittent fasting for 15 years.
On the 28th, a video featuring Lee Hyori as a guest was released on the YouTube channel 'PinggyeGo'.
Yoo Jae-suk asked Lee Hyori, who visited the 'PinggyeGo' office early in the morning, "Don't you usually wake up early in the morning?" To this, Lee Hyori replied, "I don't wake up this early. I usually wake up around 7:30."
She continued, "I don't eat breakfast and only have lunch and dinner. I haven't eaten breakfast for over 15 years. Nothing goes in the morning. I have dinner between 6:00 and 6:30 PM," indicating that she maintains about 17 hours of fasting through intermittent fasting.
"If I eat a late-night snack at 10 or 11 PM, I keep craving it," Yoo Jae-suk said, to which Lee Hyori responded, "We have never had a late-night snack. First of all, delivery is not available at our house in Jeju. When I open the delivery app, it shows '0'. Even common chicken cannot be delivered, so I've never had a late-night snack at all."
She added, "Since delivery is not available, I have to cook for both meals. So for the past 11 years, I've always cooked. Occasionally, I go out to eat, but I mostly cook. Thanks to that, I don't think I've gained weight or anything."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori moved to Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul last year after living in Jeju Island since her marriage to Lee Sang-soon in 2013.
