Broadcaster Lee Bong-won revealed the reason for paying for dinner expenses despite having a debt of 700 million won.
On the 17th, Lee Bong-won appeared as a guest on the SBS entertainment program 'Shoe Off Dolsing Po Man'.
On that day, Lee Sang-min asked Lee Bong-won, "There’s a legendary story. You have a debt of 700 million won, but you paid for your juniors' dinner expenses. You said, 'Whether it's 700 million or 705 million, it's all the same,' right?" which caught attention.
In response, Lee Bong-won nodded and said, "If it suddenly goes from 700 million to 750 million, that would be damaging, but 700 million to 500,000 is nothing, right?" which drew laughter.
Hearing this, Lee Hye-jung commented, "This is why (his wife) Mi-seon sighs so much." However, Lee Bong-won sought agreement from the other cast members, saying, "If you think about it, isn't it a valid point?"
Lee Bong-won also jokingly responded to the question, "What if the dinner expense was 2 million won?" by saying, "If it doesn't exceed a thousand, it's the same. Call it."
