Broadcaster Park Na-rae was spotted hauling a lot of luggage while climbing a rural path in Jirisan.
In the upcoming episode of MBC's entertainment program ‘I Live Alone’ (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Soo-bin, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Gi-young) airing on the 6th, Park Na-rae's visit to meet the ‘Eran Master’ in Jirisan will be revealed.
The released photos show Park Na-rae sweating profusely as she moves her luggage. Curiosity is piqued as she drags a large suitcase, reminiscent of moving day, up the rural path.
Upon arriving in front of a mysterious mountain lodge, Park Na-rae calls out, “Jirisan Oppa~” and greets someone warmly. This person is Chef Yang Jae-joong, Park Na-rae's ‘Eran Oppa’ and the ‘Eran Master’. Park Na-rae expressed, “I really wanted to try this,” as she visited the chef's workshop in Jirisan to learn from the ‘Eran Master’.
‘Eran’ is a dish made from dried mullet roe, a very rare food that has been served at royal banquets since ancient times. After tasting the ‘Eran’ made by the ‘Eran Master’, Park Na-rae's eyes widen as she is left speechless by the explosive umami and flavor.
To start the ‘Eran making’ process, Park Na-rae appears fully equipped in a combat-like work outfit, bringing a smile to the ‘Eran Master’. From extracting roe from a large mullet to delicately refining the ‘Eran’ as if performing surgery, Park Na-rae shows an immersive focus as if forgetting the time. Expectations are high for how the process of making ‘Eran’, which Park Na-rae described as “feeling like creating a work of art,” will unfold.
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae revels in happiness at a Jirisan table filled with picturesque scenery and precious vegetable side dishes. Sitting around with neighbors, enjoying a healthy feast, Park Na-rae's healing moments are sure to evoke envy from viewers.
Park Na-rae's journey to Jirisan to meet the ‘Eran Master’ can be seen in the episode of ‘I Live Alone’ airing on the 6th at 11:10 PM.
