Megan from the girl group Cats Eye has confessed, "I am bisexual."
On the 6th, during a Weverse live session, Megan said, "Everyone, I want to come out. I am bisexual."
As news of Megan's statement spread, fans from various countries left supportive messages on the fan platform Weverse, saying, "Megan, I love you so much" and "I am proud of you."
Megan is the second member of Cats Eye to publicly identify as a sexual minority, following Lara in March.
At that time, Lara revealed, "I knew I was gay since before I was 8 years old," and shared, "I was afraid of whether people would accept me when I participated in the audition program, and I worried that I might lose my chance to debut."
She continued, "Thanks to your support, I have been able to feel prouder of myself," and added, "Coming out can be scary. I faced barriers as a person of color, but this identity is a part of me and I am not ashamed at all."
Cats Eye, a multinational girl group formed through a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, was established after overcoming a competition rate of 6000 to 1 in the audition program 'The Debut: Dream Academy' aired in 2023.
