Actor Oh Kwang-rok reunited with his son, who he had lost contact with, after 7 years and heard shocking words.
On the 13th, the TV Chosun entertainment program 'Dad and Me' aired the story of actor Oh Kwang-rok and his son.
On this day, Oh Kwang-rok explained his family situation, saying, "When my son Si-won was about 5 years old, his mother and I separated. My wife went back to her parents' house, and I was left alone. We didn't live together." The reason for their separation was due to financial difficulties stemming from his career as a theater actor, which did not provide a stable income.
Oh Kwang-rok revealed, "I haven't seen my son since before the pandemic, it's been about 7 years. Even when I tried to contact him, there was no response," indicating the long period of not being able to meet.
After several attempts to reach out, he finally got in touch with his son, and they met after a long time. Oh Kwang-rok expressed his joy, saying, "It's been a really long time since I last saw you," but his son's reaction was cold.

He continued, "The reason I'm here now is that I have wounds, and since there are holes from those wounds, I want to acknowledge them first before having everyday conversations," stating, "It's been so long that the emotions are still raw. I don't know how to resolve them."
The son also expressed, "To me, my dad had no presence. He was worse than not being there at all," and revealed that he avoided contact out of anger.
