PD Na Young-seok, comedian Lee Soo-geun, singer Eun Ji-won, and Kyuhyun have left for Kenya to film the new variety show 'Three Meals in Kenya' (tentative title).
According to Egg is Coming on the 14th, Lee Soo-geun has departed for filming the tvN variety show 'Three Meals in Kenya', a spin-off of 'New Journey to the West', along with Eun Ji-won and Kyuhyun.
Previously, Kyuhyun, a fixed member of 'New Journey to the West', drew a hotel stay voucher for giraffes in Kenya while playing a nostalgic lottery game with Lee Soo-geun and Eun Ji-won during the broadcast of 'New Journey to the West' Season 7 on November 15, 2019. This new program is derived from the continuity of that episode. However, production was delayed due to the impact of 'COVID-19', and it is reported that filming has resumed after 6 years.
Thus, the unexpected rumor of conflict between Na Young-seok and Lee Soo-geun has been completely resolved. Earlier, as the production of the next season of 'New Journey to the West' was postponed, rumors of discord between the two spread.
On the MBC variety show 'Radio Star' aired on March 26, Lee Soo-geun also mentioned, "It's been 6 years since we did 'New Journey to the West'. People ask, 'What's going on? Why aren't you doing 'New Journey to the West'?' He explained, "PD Na Young-seok has too many projects. There are so many types of restaurants like 'Three Meals a Day' and 'Yoon's Restaurant' that sometimes you have to wait for your turn. You can't just clear your schedule.
