'Born to Travel the World Season 4' has made a successful return, capturing both viewership ratings and OTT buzz.

The MBC entertainment program 'Born to Travel the World Season 4' (hereafter 'Around the World in 80 Days 4'), which premiered on May 11, recorded a 2.3% viewership rating among the 2049 demographic and a peak rating of 3.6% (Nielsen metropolitan area), setting a new record for the highest first episode ratings in the history of the 'Around the World in 80 Days' series.

Immediately after the broadcast, it topped Netflix's 'Top 10 Series in South Korea' and ranked first in the entertainment category on Wavve, proving its competitiveness with a strong response across both TV and digital platforms.

In the first episode, the journey of Giann84, who started his solo trek in the Nepal Himalayas, was showcased as he climbed the mountains with Sherpas, transforming into a 'Korean Sherpa'. His struggle to carry over 30kg on his forehead while climbing steep mountain paths drew deep immersion and empathy from viewers, leading to praise such as "a documentary beyond entertainment" and "Giann84 was truly impressive." The authentic journey, fitting the title of 'Unplanned, Local Engagement', evoked both fun and emotion from the audience.

Additionally, the official YouTube channel 'Around the World in 80 Days Base Camp' is providing viewers with additional enjoyment by releasing not only videos that follow the TV broadcast of 'Around the World in 80 Days 4' but also unreleased footage and various content.

In the upcoming second episode airing on May 18, Pani Bottle, Lee Si-eon, and Dex will finally join, promising to unleash the 'Complete Chemistry of the Brothers', hinting at an even more dynamic journey.

Meanwhile, 'Around the World in 80 Days 4' airs every Sunday at 9:10 PM, with the second episode scheduled to air at 10 PM due to a special election broadcast.
