Trot singer Nam Seung-min has shared a greeting after his discharge from military service.
On the 9th, Nam Seung-min posted on Instagram, "I am Nam Seung-min, a reserve sergeant in the Navy," along with a photo.
The photo shows Nam Seung-min in military uniform, looking impressive and well-suited in his attire.
Nam Seung-min stated, "I enlisted in the training center on October 10, 2023, and today, June 9, 2025, marks the end of my diligent military service journey," adding, "During my service, I traveled across the country, participating in over 100 training sessions and events."
He continued, "I was more sincere about my military life than anyone else and created meaningful memories. At the center of this were the Navy sailors I lived with daily and the band members and officers who welcomed me warmly. They recognized me more than anyone else when I participated in 'Mr. Trot 3,' which helped me reach this point."
He also expressed, "From now on, I plan to start my journey as one of the TOP 7 of 'Mr. Trot 3' with a stronger mental fortitude and the spirit of victory I learned in the training center," pledging to be active in his endeavors.
Additionally, he mentioned, "Somehow, I was awarded a commendation representing the 696th Navy recruits on the day of my discharge," and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the fans who waited for him, saying, "It would be great if you could support me in my future journey. I will sing even harder."
Meanwhile, Nam Seung-min participated in TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot' in 2020 and also took part in Season 3 during his military service, finishing in 6th place.
