Broadcaster Lee Bong-won shared his experience of having his car damaged by a stone while driving on the highway.
On the 2nd, a video titled 'Hyung.. Why is this coming out of the car..?' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Bongwonie Hyung'.
On that day, Lee Bong-won washed his Tesla Model X himself. The vehicle is reported to be worth around 150 million won.
Lee Bong-won said, “I naturally go around. I wash my car about once every month or two. Washing it when it rains is my way of cleaning.” and smiled.
He then showed a windshield product and explained, “A stone flew up on the highway and broke (the front glass). Once it breaks, you have to replace the whole thing. It cost me 3 million won to replace it all. When the glass wasn’t broken, I didn’t use this product, and everything got damaged. This is technically called 'stone chip protection'.”
Lee Bong-won debuted in 1984 through the KBS Comedy Contest. He married broadcaster Park Mi-sun in 1993 and has a daughter and a son.
