'24-Hour Health Club' is set to unveil today (30th), with Lee Jun-young and Jung Eun-ji becoming deeply entangled from their first meeting.
Scheduled to air on the 30th, KBS2's new Wednesday-Thursday drama '24-Hour Health Club' (directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo) is a heart-pounding comic romance about a fitness enthusiast, Director Do Hyun-jung, who dramatically corrects the lives of overly anxious gym members.
Lee Jun-young plays the role of Director Do Hyun-jung, who suddenly takes over an old gym from a world-renowned bodybuilder, while Jung Eun-ji portrays Lee Mi-ran, a gym newbie who accidentally steps into the gym after a shocking breakup. The fantastic synergy created by the two is expected to bring vitality to the weekday home screens.
The stills released ahead of the premiere capture the fateful yet delightful first meeting between Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Jun-young) and Lee Mi-ran (played by Jung Eun-ji), drawing attention.
Hyun-jung, who successfully turns his life around through exercise and proudly wins the Mr. David competition, is seen distributing club flyers with Alex (played by Lee Seung-woo) in a flashy outfit at midnight, providing a twist. It raises curiosity about what led Hyun-jung to the streets.
In another still, Mi-ran is captured arguing with her boyfriend, Yeom Jun-seok (played by Jung Wook-jin). However, she soon collapses in despair at Jun-seok's words, her eyes red and swollen, evoking sympathy.
While distributing flyers, Hyun-jung and Alex encounter Mi-ran in the middle of the street. Hyun-jung hands a flyer to the dejected Mi-ran, and his serious expression devoid of a smile heightens interest. Mi-ran can only look at him in disbelief. Whether this brief moment will become a decisive turning point in their lives makes their unexpectedly started story even more intriguing.
The highly anticipated first episode of '24-Hour Health Club' will air on the 30th at 9:50 PM.
