Actor Lee Jun-young's photoshoot has been revealed.
Fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar released Lee Jun-young's photoshoot and interview on the 29th.
Through this photoshoot, Lee Jun-young showcased the face of youth that finds answers through clashes and breakages. With casual styling and poses that rival professional models, he exuded a natural yet free-spirited charm.
In the interview following the photoshoot, he discussed the Netflix series ‘D.P.’ which has taken the world by storm, dominating the Netflix Top 10 in 39 countries.
In ‘D.P.’, Lee Jun-young played the pure-hearted young man Yeong-beom, who only has eyes for his girlfriend Geum-myeong (IU). When a reporter jokingly asked, “Why did you do that?” he quickly caught on to the intent of the question and replied, “That’s right. Why didn’t he serve the soup? Everyone I meet these days asks me about it, and I’m just as frustrated,” which drew laughter.
He also mentioned, “My mother has already watched the drama four or five times. She cries every time she watches it. I’ve never had such detailed discussions about my work with my family, but I think it was possible with ‘D.P.’ because it deals with family love that resonates with all generations,” expressing his affection for the work.
Lee Jun-young successfully transformed into Geum Seong-jae in the Netflix series ‘Weak Hero Class 2’, which was released on the 25th. Regarding the role of Geum Seong-jae, he said, “Director Han Jun-hee told me, ‘This is just you, Jun-young,’ and that’s how I got involved. In fact, he resembles me quite a bit. The romantic side of Lee Jun-young as a person is also present in Geum Seong-jae,” heightening expectations.
Lee Jun-young will take on the lead role of Do Hyun-jung in the new KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘24-Hour Health Club’, which premieres on the 30th.
