Singer Kim Jung-min expressed anger over outrageous fake news.

On the 30th, Kim Jung-min posted a message and video on his SNS saying, "Please scold the person who made this. Just kill me instead. Please report it."

The video Kim Jung-min shared contains a segment from a video made by a YouTube channel. The video introduces, "Below are the TOP 5 Korean celebrities who revealed they were gay in the past and later got married," and states, "Kim Jung-min is a famous singer who confessed he was gay in the past." It includes false information that he confessed to being gay but married a civilian in 2014.

Since the claim that Kim Jung-min confessed to being gay and the timing of the marriage are both false, he has also become a victim of the indiscriminate issue-making of fake news.

Netizens also criticized the absurd fake news, saying, "What’s the intention?", "I would be angry too," "Why make something like this?", "You must be very upset," "Fake news has crossed the line," "Why say such things to someone who is happily married?", "This has gone too far."

Meanwhile, Kim Jung-min married Tani Rumiko in 2006 and has three sons.
