Cheon Ho-jin and Ryu Deok-hwan will appear as the "Heaven Duo" in "More Beautiful than Heaven".

The new JTBC weekend drama "More Beautiful than Heaven" (written by Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Soo-jin, directed by Kim Seok-yoon) will premiere on the 19th at 10:40 PM, and on the 9th, they released character stills of Cheon Ho-jin and Ryu Deok-hwan, who will showcase their undeniable presence as the 'Center Director' of the Heaven Support Center and the 'Pastor' of the Heaven Church.

"More Beautiful than Heaven" is a transcendent romance that unfolds when Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja), who arrives in Heaven at the age of 80, reunites with her husband Ko Nak-jun (played by Son Seok-koo), who has been rejuvenated to his 30s. Lee Hae-sook's life in Heaven, starting a second life at the end of her life, offers warm emotions beyond delightful laughter.

In the teaser video released earlier, viewers got a glimpse of an unimaginable Heaven, and curiosity about the 'Center Director' and 'Pastor' characters, who will guide Lee Hae-sook and the audience to a more dynamic Heaven, is also rising. First, the Center Director conducting an orientation in Heaven catches the eye. He begins with a welcome message to the new residents and shares the rules and precautions for living in Heaven.

The Center Director is a character who hides authority and dignity behind a gentle smile, monitoring and managing various places in Heaven through CCTV, and paying special attention to Lee Hae-sook as a person of interest. In another photo, the Pastor is seen leaning awkwardly against the worship podium. The Pastor, one of the few who has nothing to do in Heaven where repentance is unnecessary, spends his mundane days keeping the lonely church, but upon meeting Lee Hae-sook, he experiences the 'taste of Heaven'.

Director Kim Seok-yoon stated, "Cheon Ho-jin plays the Center Director who oversees Heaven in this work, showcasing a different side of himself with a soft charisma and cute comedic acting," hinting at a new face of Cheon Ho-jin that has never been seen before. It raises curiosity about how he will embody the imagination and fantasy of this work, having already joined the ranks of 'National Fathers' with his realistic acting.

Additionally, Director Kim Seok-yoon expressed satisfaction with the casting of Ryu Deok-hwan as the 'Pastor', saying, "This role was expected to be difficult to cast, but I contacted Ryu Deok-hwan right away when I heard he was looking for his next project. He is a solid actor, and since he has a connection with Kim Hye-ja through the drama 'Four Seasons Diary', he was a perfect fit for the 'Pastor' role." Ryu Deok-hwan's passionate performance, completing a 'love-hate' dynamic with Kim Hye-ja's character, is also highly anticipated.

JTBC's new weekend drama "More Beautiful than Heaven" will premiere on the 19th at 10:40 PM and will air every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
