In the short animated film category, the short animation 'Alsa-tang', based on the picture book by Baek Hee-na, the author of the beloved fairy tale 'Cloud Bread', has garnered attention.
The work, based on Baek Hee-na's picture books 'Alsa-tang' and 'I Am a Dog', which won the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2020, known as the 'Nobel Prize of Children's Literature', is produced by Toei Animation, Japan's largest animation studio, with the production team from 'The First Slam Dunk' joining in, creating a buzz.
