Actors Nam Da-reum and Oh Ye-ju became the recipients of the Drama Special Award at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards'.

Nam Da-reum, from 'The Officer Discusses', said after winning the Drama Special Award at the '2024 KBS Acting Awards' broadcast on the 11th, "I met Dong-gung when I was contemplating my next project after my discharge. I dedicate this honor to the writer and the director who led me with confidence on set, and to Tang Jun-sang and the staff who worked hard during the hot summer."

He continued, "I sincerely thank my mother, who has always been my greatest support. There are so many people I am grateful to. I will continue to grow as an actor to repay that gratitude."

Oh Ye-ju, from 'My Soles are Hot', expressed, "I was grateful just to be part of a work that can provide such warm comfort, and I am thankful for receiving a great award. I sincerely thank the director, writer, fellow actors, and staff who gave me confidence and support when I was worried and uncertain while working on this project."

He added, "This is a work that provides great comfort to those with aching hearts. I send applause and support to those who have run so hard in 2024 until their soles are hot. I hope the new year will be filled with love."

The '2024 KBS Acting Awards', hosted by broadcaster Jang Seong-kyu and actors Seo Hyun and Moon Sang-min, was originally scheduled to be broadcast live on December 31 of last year but was canceled due to the aftermath of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster. The awards ceremony was conducted as a recording at that time.

Nominees for the Grand Prize included Lee Soon-jae from the drama 'Barking Dog', Ji Hyun-woo and Lim Soo-hyang from 'Beauty and the Beast', Kim Jung-hyun and Park Ji-young from 'Iron Family', and Kim Ha-neul from 'Let's Grab the Collar'.
