BTS member V (Kim Tae-hyung, 29) revealed that his MBTI changed after returning from military service.

On the 10th, RM and V, who completed their military service, held a live broadcast on the fan communication platform Weverse around 12 PM.

During the live broadcast, V said, “Of course, there were tough parts during military life, but the best part was meeting various new friends.” He added, “I was with friends when I woke up and I was with friends before I closed my eyes. Listening to different life stories and exchanging conversations created unique experiences and memories.”

He continued, “After going to the military, my MBTI changed. I was originally ENFP and INFP, but it changed to T. I couldn’t indulge in the kids’ whims. I became completely rational. I think my empathy level has decreased a lot.”

RM and V, who enlisted together in December 2023, served in the military band of the 15th Infantry Division in Hwacheon and the Special Duty Team (SDT) of the Military Police Corps in Chuncheon, respectively, and were discharged on this day.

Following the earlier discharges of Jin and J-Hope, with RM and V now discharged, 4 out of the 7 BTS members have returned to civilian status. Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on the 11th, and Suga (Min Yoongi), who is serving as a social service agent, will be released from service on the 21st.

As a result, BTS's military hiatus, which began in December 2022, will conclude in June. The agency HYBE has stated, “We hope for BTS's full group activities in 2025,” leading the industry to anticipate a new album from BTS as early as the end of this year or at the latest in the first half of next year.
