Singer Xeuda is receiving treatment for a brain hemorrhage.
On the 22nd, Xeuda announced on SNS, "I am hospitalized due to a brain hemorrhage," stating, "I had bleeding deep in my brain and was in the ICU for over two days before being moved to a general ward."
She added, "It is a site where bleeding occurs in a chain reaction, but fortunately, it has stopped without further incidents, and since it is a risky area for immediate surgery, we will monitor the situation as it is," expressing relief at having passed a significant hurdle.
Xeuda also shared, "While in the ICU, I thought about the trivial things I may never enjoy again, like the wind, sunlight, and living without being tied to a hospital bed. If I can survive this, I will live with more gratitude and love, uttering words that seem unreachable," evoking sympathy.
She continued, "However, I am really fortunate that I can now feel the wind, get rained on, and bask in the sunlight while resting, so please don't worry too much," adding, "There are symptoms of nerve paralysis on the left side of my face, but they say I will recover slowly. If there are no major issues, I could improve with medication," providing a hopeful outlook.
Xeuda expressed, "I don't know when it will be, but I want to greet you as soon as I can. I want to sing more," explaining that "all performances scheduled for April have been canceled. There were many exciting performances in May, but I don't think I can manage them all."
Finally, Xeuda said, "I am so grateful to be able to convey this news myself. Thank you," and added, "I will contact you slowly. I love you all," expressing her gratitude to her fans.
Xeuda began her career as a musician by performing at a live club in Hongdae in 2017. She released her debut album 'Left Behind' in 2019 and has released songs such as 'As the Wind Blows' and 'On the Way Home' for the JTBC drama 'The Prosecutor's Civil War' OST.
Her solo performance 'Writing Words of Love' was scheduled for the 20th but was canceled due to Xeuda's health issues.
