The group Everglow, which faced a disbandment crisis, is continuing its activities as a complete group after finding a new home.
According to Star Today’s report on the 10th, Everglow has recently signed an exclusive contract with the agency Cheetah Company.
Cheetah Company also confirmed the partnership through an official statement on the same day, stating, “Everglow has transformed from a 6-member group to a 4-member system and has decided to embark on a new journey together.”
The 4 members who joined hands with Cheetah Company will continue to use the team name 'Everglow'.
Everglow member Sihyeon expressed through the agency, “We are preparing various musical activities to freely showcase our unique colors and energy,” and added, “We are grateful to our domestic and international fans who have waited for us, and we plan to repay you with active communication and many performances, so please look forward to it.”
Cheetah Company focuses on global performance content planning and production, as well as world tour management. It is home to the crossover group Crezle, which ranked third in JTBC's 'Phantom Singer 4'.
According to Cheetah Company, Everglow is preparing for a new album and has announced a global fan meeting tour.
Previously, Everglow seemed to be on the path to disbandment when they announced the termination of their contract with their former agency, Yuehua Entertainment, in May. However, the members dismissed the disbandment rumors during a live broadcast at that time and hinted at new activities.
Since their debut in 2019, Everglow has gained popularity with songs like 'Bon Bon Chocolat', 'Adios', 'Dun Dun', and 'La Di Da'. The team name is a combination of 'EVER' (always) and 'GLOW' (to shine), meaning “just as there are days when the sun shines and nights when it does not, we will make both light and shadow our own time.”
