Daniel, a member of the group NewJeans, has gone running once again.

On the 18th, Sean, a member of the group Jinusian, posted on his SNS, “Unknown Crew early morning running. Me, Lee Si-woo, Lee Young-pyo, Daniel, Park Bo-gum. Enjoyable 10km run while chatting. I thought it was going to rain, but it didn’t while we were running. Who among the five is the weather fairy?” along with a photo they took together.

In the released photo, Sean is smiling with the running crew members, including Daniel, taking a selfie to commemorate their completion. Here, Sean encouraged Daniel, saying, “Congratulations on successfully completing your longest distance of 10km without taking a break! (Everyone is amazed by Daniel's running skills).”

Previously, on the 1st, Daniel also shared a recent photo of him running with them. At that time, Sean mentioned that they jogged 8.15km with the crew, including Daniel, saying, “Bo-gum, at this rate, you might really run a full marathon this year. Why is Daniel running so well? If he prepares a bit, he could participate in a 10km competition.”

Daniel's group, NewJeans, is currently experiencing a legal dispute with their agency, Ador, regarding their exclusive contract. According to the court's ruling, the members have suspended their activities and have not provided any updates. Daniel's appearance after a long time has drawn attention.

The court ruled in favor of Ador regarding the injunction request for ‘preservation of agency status and prohibition of contract signing,’ thus restricting the members from engaging in any commercial activities, including singing, broadcasting, events, and advertisements, without Ador's approval.

The court also accepted Ador's request for indirect enforcement. The indirect enforcement fee is a penalty imposed for failing to comply with the court's decision, and the court stated that if NewJeans engages in independent activities without Ador, they must compensate 1 billion won per person.

In this situation, Min Hee-jin, the former CEO of Ador, known as NewJeans' mom, is facing a public trial for a damage compensation lawsuit worth about 2.5 billion won filed by Belift Lab and Source Music under HYBE on the afternoon of the 18th. Min claims that “Source Music neglected the NewJeans members” and “Ailet plagiarized NewJeans' choreography.”
