Singer BoA's solo concert has been canceled for health reasons.
On the 15th, her agency SM Entertainment announced, "BoA's fifth solo concert has become difficult to proceed due to the artist's health issues."
The agency explained, "BoA was diagnosed with acute bone necrosis requiring surgical treatment after visiting a hospital due to worsening knee pain. To prevent the progression of the disease, she has been advised to refrain from strenuous physical activities and performances such as dancing, and she has decided to undergo surgery as soon as possible based on the medical team's recommendations."
As a result of BoA's surgery, her fifth concert scheduled for August 30-31 has been inevitably canceled.
The agency added, "This year is a significant year as it marks BoA's 25th anniversary since her debut, and we plan to release the completed album as scheduled without any changes for the fans who have been eagerly waiting. We will inform you about the possibility of future concerts based on the artist's recovery after surgery."
