TV Chosun has donated the entire revenue of over 88.42 million won from the live text voting during the final broadcast of 'Mr. Trot 3' to the 'Love's Fruit Social Welfare Community Chest' (hereinafter referred to as 'Love's Fruit').
On the 19th of last month, at the recording site of 'Love's Call Center Seven Stars' held at the TV Chosun Gasan Production Center, the top 7 including Jin (眞) Kim Yong-bin from 'Mr. Trot 3', along with MCs Kim Sung-joo and Boom, presented the total text voting revenue of 88,423,488 won from the 'Mr. Trot 3' final to Secretary-General Hwang In-sik of 'Love's Fruit'. The donation will be used to support the recovery of daily life for vulnerable groups during the hot summer.
Starting with the full donation of the text voting revenue from the final of 'Mr. Trot' in 2020, TV Chosun has donated a total of 1.484 billion won, including 'Miss Trot 2' in 2021, 'National Singer' and 'Im Lee-ja Special Thank You Concert' in 2022, 'Mr. Trot 2' in 2023, and 'Miss Trot 3' in 2024.
A TV Chosun official stated, "As this was made possible by the viewers' warm love and interest, we hope that the revenue will be used where it is needed. Once again, we thank the viewers."
Meanwhile, the donation ceremony for the text voting revenue from the live broadcast of the 'Mr. Trot 3' final can be seen on the TV Chosun broadcast of 'Love's Call Center Seven Stars' airing at 10 PM on the 10th.
