On that day, the production team gathered the cast and announced, “Lee Kang-won has been discharged due to a violation of the rules.” It was a sudden discharge just a day before the final selection, but the reason was not disclosed. The production team explained, “There was a reason he could not continue with us. We confirmed that, and that led to his discharge.”
In an interview, Lee Kang-won stated, “I have been discharged due to a violation of the rules,” and added, “I am sorry for leaving due to my fault, and I apologize for not being able to speak the truth.
