On the 13th, Psy appeared on 'Nabulnabul', which was released through the YouTube channel 'Channel 15', sharing the story of how he started the summer brand concert 'Psy Summer Swag', which surpassed 400,000 total audience last year, along with his passionate love for the stage.
Recalling last year's 'Psy Summer Swag', PD Na Young-seok expressed admiration for the numerous audience gathered at the venue. Psy reflected, "It's hard to believe every time. The most unreal part was the fact that people gathered in areas where performances are rare, which was touching."
'Psy Summer Swag' was inspired by the street cheering during the World Cup. Psy thought, "I want to create an event where people can wear the same color clothes and play outdoors," and later introduced the signature Banpo Bridge special effects equipment, inspired by the Banpo Bridge fountain show.
In particular, Psy compared his performance to 'curry rice', explaining, "The basic rice is the sound and lighting. I try very hard to cook the rice well. The special effects like fire and water are the toppings." He also revealed his 'performance powerhouse' side by stating, "The most important thing is the facilities and restrooms," prioritizing the convenience of the audience.
Additionally, there was a discussion about P Nation's first girl group Baby DONT Cry, which is set to debut on the 23rd. Psy mentioned that he entrusted the producing of Baby DONT Cry entirely to Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, and that the team name was also suggested by Soyeon.
Psy stated, "I think Soyeon is the complete ace among the next generation, a unique ace. That's why Soyeon is doing the overall producing," raising expectations for Baby DONT Cry.
