The group (G)I-DLE has heightened expectations for their new song 'Good Thing' through contrasting teasers.
On the 16th, their agency Cube Entertainment simultaneously released two teasers for the music video of the title track 'Good Thing' from their mini album 'We Are' on (G)I-DLE's official SNS channels.
In the first teaser video, the members are seen screaming and running around in a chaotic subway, engaging in a brawl. The scene, which is a complete mess, is accompanied by a catchy hook and witty lyrics, leaving a strong impression.
In another video, the members, dressed in white t-shirts and jeans, create a bright atmosphere by clapping and smiling in front of the camera. After the camera turns off, they leave with expressions as if nothing happened, showcasing a stark contrast in mood and raising anticipation for the main content.
The title track 'Good Thing' features lyrics and composition by So-yeon, following the pre-released song 'Girlfriend'. The song is addictive, enhanced by vocal chops edited to sound like instruments and autotune effects that add a stylish mood.
(G)I-DLE previously drew attention by releasing a short version of the audio and short-form video for 'Good Thing' on SNS. The striking styling and the clever choreography that matches the song title by giving a thumbs up caught the eyes of fans and garnered enthusiastic responses.
(G)I-DLE's mini album 'We Are' will be released on various music sites on the 19th at 6 PM.
