The group NCT Wish will not be able to perform due to issues with U.S. visa issuance.
SM Entertainment (hereafter SM) announced on the 10th through their official SNS that "NCT Wish will not be able to join the stage of 'SM Town Live 2025 in L.A.' due to visa issues."
SM explained, "In order to participate in this performance with our fans, we diligently went through all necessary procedures such as document submission and interviews to obtain visa approval, but due to unexpected delays in approval, we were unable to receive the visa."
They continued, "At this point, it is difficult to ascertain the exact reason or cause of the approval delay, and although we have made every effort to resolve the issue, we ultimately could not obtain the visa and will not be able to take the stage."
SM expressed, "Thinking of the fans who have been looking forward to NCT Wish's performance, we feel very regretful and heavy-hearted. We did our best to obtain the visa approval until the last moment, but we sincerely apologize for not being able to keep our promise. Above all, we deeply apologize for disappointing the fans who took precious time to wait for the performance. We will strive to repay your support and expectations with even better appearances in the future," bowing their heads.
NCT Wish released their mini album 'Pop Pop' on the 14th of last month. 'SM Town Live 2025 in L.A.' will be held on the 11th (local time) at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, USA.
