Jeon Min-wook of the group Close Your Eyes shared his thoughts on re-debuting.
Close Your Eyes (Jeon Min-wook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Seong-min, Song Seung-ho, Kenshin, Seo Kyung-bae) held a showcase to celebrate the release of their first mini album 'ETERNALT' on the afternoon of the 2nd at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
Member Jeon Min-wook (Jae-min) was embroiled in controversy regarding his status before the debut of Close Your Eyes. His former agency, Pocketdol Studio, claimed that they had agreed with the production team of 'Project 7' that he could participate in activities with BAE173 and Close Your Eyes, but changed their stance after he was selected for the debut group.
In response, the 'Project 7' and Uncore sides refuted, stating, "We were aware that activities outside of the project group could not be conducted without prior approval," and Jeon Min-wook personally expressed his intention to suspend activities with BAE173 to Pocketdol Studio.
When asked about his feelings on re-debuting, Jeon Min-wook said, "I have many emotions, but the important thing is that I am gaining strength from my fans. Since my debut, I have been active with the mindset of giving back the love I received. Even after re-debuting, I will continue to strive to make my fans happy."
Meanwhile, Close Your Eyes' debut title track "All the Poems and Novels Inside Me" is a song with a 2000s retro R&B vibe. The lyrics capture the honest and delicate love of a literary boy awkwardly writing about love, creating a fascinating contrast with the mature atmosphere of the track. It will be released at 6 PM today.
