On the afternoon of the 12th, KBS2's entertainment program 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears' (hereafter 'Sadangui') featured Chef Shin Jong-cheol supervising the cooking of staff ahead of the 2025 winter promotion.
During the broadcast, Chef Shin visited the Chinese cuisine corner as the third inspection target and examined the Dongpayuk. Upon seeing the single-serving Dongpayuk, he exclaimed, "Is the Dongpayuk lying down? Is it standing up? Which one is better?!"
When a staff member replied, "It looks prettier when it's standing," he retorted, "Then why did you do it like this? Stand it up!" Make the Dongpayuk again," he fumed. Jeon Hyun-moo, who was watching, also sided with Shin Jong-cheol, saying, "But fundamentally, it wasn't made deliciously."
