The virtual boy group Playb has donated 100 million won to support pregnant women in crisis.
On the 24th, the child welfare organization Green Umbrella reported that Playb and their agency Blast have delivered 100 million won to support pregnant women in crisis.
The donation was raised through the profits from a Kakao emoticon project created by Playb fans, personal donations from the members, and contributions from the agency itself. In particular, the donation was made under the fandom name 'PLLI' to express gratitude to the fans.
Member Eun-ho stated, “We hope our small donation can provide a warm winter for those pregnant women in crisis.”
Shin Jeong-won, head of the Social Contribution Cooperation Department at Green Umbrella, said, “We hope this donation will provide practical support for pregnant women in crisis to give birth healthily and alleviate the burden of raising children,” and added, “We will continue to provide various support so that all children can grow up happily from birth to independence.”
