The rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts has successfully completed their debut activities.
Hearts2Hearts debuted on February 24 with their first single "The Chase," taking their first step into their unique musical world with the dreamy and mysterious title track "The Chase" and the warm and lyrical B-side track "Butterflies." They received a hot response through three weeks of music show appearances, showcasing the advantages of a multi-member group with their sharp choreography and the unique killing points of each member in their debut stage of "The Chase."
Additionally, Hearts2Hearts achieved first place on their first music show just 15 days after their debut with "The Chase," topped the QQ Music K-Pop weekly chart in China (from February 27 to March 5), and steadily climbed the ranks on various major domestic music charts. Their sophisticated performances were showcased in rich dance content, and the chemistry and lively, cheerful appearances of the eight members were also released, ranking in the YouTube trending videos, demonstrating the high interest from global fans.
As Hearts2Hearts energetically moves towards being "the best rookie of 2025," they announced the launch of their first reality show "Chat Hearts2Hearts" on March 26 and hinted at another new song release this year. The members shared various stories, from their feelings about completing their debut activities to comeback spoilers, through a Q&A session.
Here is the Hearts2Hearts Q&A
Q. How do you feel after completing three weeks of debut activities?
A. Jiwoo: Time flew by so fast that it feels like a dream. I am grateful to everyone who watched the beginning of Hearts2Hearts, and I hope you look forward to our next steps!
A. Yuha: I am really happy to receive such great love from our debut album. I will work harder to repay the support and love from many people. Please look forward to our next album as well.
A. Jueun: I made unforgettable memories over the past three weeks. I want to show even more amazing music and stages as Hearts2Hearts in the future.
A. Ian: I had a really happy and enjoyable time over the three weeks. I think I will never forget it. Please continue to love Hearts2Hearts!
Q. What was the most memorable moment during your debut activities?
A. Carmen: It was our first music show! I was really touched when I heard the fans chanting the cheering method that was revealed the day before during the pre-recording of our first music show.
A. Stella: I also remember our first music show. It was my first time going to a broadcasting station. (laughs) I grew my dreams watching the stages of my seniors on music shows, and I was so happy to stand on that stage myself.
A. Eina: I remember the day we had our debut stage on MBC's "Show! Music Core" and my first broadcast as an MC. I was very nervous, but all the members, fans, and staff supported me a lot, so I was able to finish well.
A. Yeon: The day we appeared on our first radio program is the most memorable for me. It was amazing to actually be on the radio that I always watched and listened to, and although I was very nervous because it was live, it was so much fun, and the DJ seniors treated us warmly, so I was able to relax. I want to appear again next time!
Q. The stages on music shows received good responses; do you have a favorite stage?
A. Carmen: The stage on Mnet's "M Countdown" in the second week! It felt like it matched the concept of "The Chase" really well, and I was so happy performing on that stage.
A. Yuha: I liked the stage on KBS2's "Music Bank" in the first week the most. It reflected the props and outfits we used during the jacket shooting for our debut album! I was curious about how it would be implemented, and I was grateful for the wonderful stage they created.
A. Jueun: The "Music Bank" stage in the third week! I think the members' styling was really pretty.
A. Yeon: I really liked the styling on "Show! Music Core" in the second week. I also remember the first week on SBS's "Inkigayo," where I wore the outfits from the music video that fans liked a lot.
Q. Among the various reactions to your debut song and performance, what impressed you the most?
A. Jiwoo: The reaction that "The Chase" is like "Pyongyang cold noodles sprinkled with star powder!" (laughs) At first, it felt bland, but I understood it to mean that the more you listen to "The Chase," the more you fall for its mysterious charm, and I found it to be a very fitting expression, which was fun.
A. Stella: Since "The Chase" is a song with a new feeling, some people might have felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but I was grateful that more and more people liked "The Chase" as we continued our activities.
A. Eina: I was proud that the response to our well-practiced sharp choreography was good. We will continue to show you amazing performances!
A. Ian: I was happy that many people liked one of the killing parts of "The Chase," the "magnesium deficiency part" (the part where I blink several times in Ian's part in the second verse). I felt that my efforts to show a better stage were worthwhile. I will create many more killing parts in the future, so please look forward to it!
Q. Starting March 26, you will meet fans through your first reality show; what can they look forward to?
A. Carmen: Please look forward to the chemistry between the members. Our usual selves are captured a lot, so I think fans will find it fun!
A. Yuha: You will see our natural selves. The comfortable appearances that come out when we are with close friends are the points of this reality show.
A. Eina: The things that happen when we are together will be much more fun than you expect!
A. Ian: I think you should look forward to the chemistry that the eight members will create together.
Q. You are preparing for a new song release following your debut; can you give us a spoiler about the comeback?
A. Jiwoo: If "The Chase" feels like a prologue for Hearts2Hearts, the next song will show a bit more of our true selves.
A. Stella: "The Chase" had a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere, but I think the next song will capture our lively charm well.
A. Jueun: We will show a completely different new side from "The Chase." Please look forward to it!
A. Yeon: I think it will be music that fans can enjoy even more together.
Q. Please say a word to S2U (Hearts, the official fan club name) who has been with you since your debut.
