SHINee's Onyu's side has indicated a strong response against malicious commenters.
His agency, Griffin Entertainment, announced on their official SNS account on the 6th, "We have confirmed that malicious posts regarding artist Onyu, including defamation, malicious slander, dissemination of false information, and personal attacks, are continuously being posted and spread on SNS and various online communities."
They added, "As a result, we are proceeding with legal procedures, including appointing a professional lawyer and submitting a complaint to the Seoul Bangbae Police Station," and emphasized, "We will respond strongly using all legal means without any leniency or settlement, both for the current issues and in the future."
Onyu has recently completed solo concerts in Japan and Seoul, and plans to continue with a tour in the Americas after stops in Taiwan and Macau in April.
