In ‘That Guy is Black Dragon’, Moon Ga-young revealed her chemistry with Choi Hyun-wook in their romance.
On the afternoon of the 12th, an online live-streamed press conference for tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘That Guy is Black Dragon’ (directed by Lee Soo-hyun, written by Kim Soo-yeon) was held. Attending the event were director Lee Soo-hyun, actors Moon Ga-young, Choi Hyun-wook, Lim Se-mi, and Kwak Si-yang.
Moon Ga-young pairs up romantically with 6 years younger Choi Hyun-wook. She said, “It was new for me. I have always played the youngest role on set, but I felt a sense of responsibility as the older one. While filming, I learned a lot from Choi Hyun-wook, and I realized that age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning.” She added, “He is a very talented actor. There were many scenes that were only possible because of Choi Hyun-wook. He did a great job with ad-libs. I have a lot of memories of laughing while filming.”
Choi Hyun-wook responded, “It was my first time leading a romance. So, I relied a lot on ‘melodrama queen’ Moon Ga-young and learned a lot. I think we came up with many ad-libs that weren’t in the script while exchanging ideas. Since she accepted everything, we filmed confidently and had fun.”
‘That Guy is Black Dragon’ is a romance about Baek Soo-jung (played by Moon Ga-young), a team leader known as the ‘Department Head Killer’ who suffers from a dark past, and Ban Joo-yeon (played by Choi Hyun-wook), a third-generation chaebol who harbors a black dragon in his heart. It is based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Hye-jin Yang.
‘That Guy is Black Dragon’ consists of a total of 12 episodes and will premiere on Monday, the 17th, at 8:50 PM.
