FNC Entertainment (hereinafter FNC) announced its consolidated results for 2024 through the electronic disclosure system.
The consolidated sales amount is 86.8 billion won, a decrease of 5.8% compared to the previous year. However, considering the exclusion of 2 billion won in sales due to the discontinuation of the printing business in 2024 and the sales of 17.3 billion won from the KBS drama 'Wedding Battle' in 2023, the music business has actually seen an increase of 14 billion won in sales compared to the previous year. In terms of operating losses, the company has been improving its performance by reducing the loss margin each year through budget and cost control since 2022.
Starting this year, with the strengthening of a singer-centered low-tier lineup, it is expected that high-profit upside growth potential will be fully realized.
P1Harmony's recent mini album 'SAD SONG' has sold over 360,000 copies, an increase of 100,000 copies compared to the previous work, ranking 16th on the US 'Billboard 200' chart and being selected as one of the '25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024' by Billboard, proving P1Harmony's growth. Continuing this momentum, the next album scheduled for release this year is also expected to see a significant increase in sales. The North American tour, which has continued since their second year of debut, has expanded its scale each year, entering arena-level venues in four cities, including the Kia Forum in LA last year, and this year plans to expand the venues for the North American tour to arena-level or higher to meet more overseas fans.
Additionally, FNC is preparing to launch a new band, AxMxP, this year, and before their official debut, member Ha Yoo-jun will star in the FNC-produced drama 'Spring of the Four Seasons' to introduce them to the public. 'Spring of the Four Seasons' is a youth romance drama set on a campus, scheduled to air on SBS in the first half of this year, and is highly anticipated as the next work of director Kim Seong-yong, who directed the drama 'Lovers.'
'Spring of the Four Seasons' is known to be expected to become the second 'Jumping with Seon-jae,' garnering high interest even before its airing. In particular, at the end of last year’s SBS Acting Awards, Ha Yoo-jun, Lee Seung-hyup, and the band in the drama performed a congratulatory stage, leading to a surge in views of the congratulatory stage video and a rapid increase in followers of AxMxP's SNS accounts even before the drama airs.
N.Flying, which has recently been expanding its fandom, will be active as a complete group starting from the 'Awesome Stage' concert in Busan on March 2, as all members have completed their military service. They are currently preparing for a comeback and plan to expand the scale and regions of their performances to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, aiming for more active activities than ever.
