Siblings duo AKMU's Lee Soo-hyun will not attend Onew's concert.
Onew's agency, Griffin Entertainment, announced on the official SNS on the 20th, "Lee Soo-hyun, who was scheduled to be a guest at the performance on the 21st, will unfortunately not be able to attend."
They added, "We sincerely apologize for delivering this sudden news to the audience who were looking forward to a wonderful stage with Onew and Lee Soo-hyun. We will do our best to present an even more amazing performance. We ask for your understanding once again."
Lee Soo-hyun was originally scheduled to participate as a guest at Onew's solo concert, which will be held on the 21st at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. However, she announced her absence just a day before the performance.
The agency did not disclose a specific reason, but it seems to be due to the impact of the death of Lee Soo-hyun's close friend, the late Kim Sae-ron.
Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the 16th. It is reported that Lee Soo-hyun rushed to the funeral home to pay her respects upon hearing the news. The deceased was laid to rest at the Unification Road Memorial Park in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
