Actress Sunwoo Yong-yeo met her grandchildren in the United States.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel 'Sunny Wind Sunwoo Yong-yeo' posted a video titled "Sunwoo Yong-yeo's tearful reunion with her son and daughter in LA (three grandchildren, foreign son-in-law)"
In the released video, Sunwoo Yong-yeo is seen at the airport, heading to meet her son and daughter living in the U.S. She proudly held a luxury bag that her husband bought her 20 years ago, saying, "I was jumping around because it was expensive back then, but I've been carrying it for 20 years."
Planning to stay in LA for a month, Sunwoo Yong-yeo faced difficulties during the immigration process. Her renewed permanent residency was on paper and needed to be verified by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Later, an airline employee approached her and said, "It will be difficult to board today," indicating that she could not enter the country. Sunwoo Yong-yeo managed to get her entry permit by finding her old permanent residency. It was mentioned that her daughter and son are citizens, which allowed her permanent residency to be issued.
After a long flight, Sunwoo Yong-yeo arrived at LA airport and came out in a wheelchair. She said, "The LA airport is so long that I can't walk alone," and expressed her bittersweet feelings, saying, "I didn't know it was tiring back in the day."
At the airport, her son, daughter, and grandchildren were there to greet her. Embracing the grandmother in a wheelchair, Sunwoo Yong-yeo expressed her affection by saying, "I love you."
The grandchildren also mentioned that they watch their grandmother's YouTube, picking her shopping at the outlet as their 'favorite' content.
Watching her grandchildren play happily, Sunwoo Yong-yeo said, "When I meet them, I just give them a few hundred dollars," adding, "I guess I'll die watching them grow up."
After leaving the airport, Sunwoo Yong-yeo met her foreign son-in-law and enjoyed a family meal together, catching up.
